Wow considering that Little is making $4.7 million for the 2017/2018 season and then jumps to $5.29 million for the next 6 years that is a great deal for the Jets. He probably easily could've gotten between $6 million to $6.5 million per long term rather easily.

Say what you want about Winnipeg and nobody wants to go there... Buff, Scheifele, Wheeler and Little seem to love it, Whatever it is - team, future success, franchise, hockey market, fans - they dig it. I expect Ehlers and Laine to join that group sooner than later.

Only questionmark is Trouba but I think the best publicity you can get to make him commit to this team is have everyone around him commit to it.

That term could make things look less rosey in a few years...but the term most definitely brought the cost down. Good on Winnipeg for getting him locked down.

The AAV is great only $529,000 more then what he's currently making. So 6 years isn't that bad for what he's getting money wise. I would've though at least a 7 year deal would've happen.
