The truth is that Dahlin is a top5-10 asset valuewise in the league right now due to age, contract status and potential.
Crosby no longer is in that group.
That is why Buffalo would say no to that deal in an instant. Not even considering that Dahlin fits their core age group a ton better than Crosby would...
