Would a Winter Claasic ever come to Nashville?

I was meaning for the future, and the BCS Playoff Championship. I suspect LP Field isn't on the short list of venues to host the BCS title game anytime soon.

Well the BCS is dead so that's a moot point, however, Nashville was asked, did put in a bid, and was on the short list for the CFP that was award to Dallas for 2015. I'm sure it will be pursued again once the next round of bids are solicited.

I think our weather is a big issue with getting an outdoor game. Sure they can do an outdoor game in LA, but it's a much more stable and dryer climate than we have here. It could easily rain here for 3 days washing out the game all together. Still think we are a little small as a hockey market to support such an event.
