Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Coyotes, San Diego Padres, Cincinnati Reds, Buffalo Bills are all worse so I did not cast a vote. We are in the neighborhood, Which is not a good thing.

We were on track to be one of the best - Nashville Predators territory - before selling the future down the river. Brick by brick is gone.

Huh? We aren't close. Also, the Bengals are the worst in professional sports and you didn't list them. Yet, you listed the Reds who aren't close either.

Didn’t vote in this one because the implication of the thread is we have two poorly run franchises - which is the worst. While the Jackets have a very poor early history, things have improved after Dougie was driven away. In the last three years, only the most negatively biased person could call the Jackets among the worst. There’s a dozen with bigger issues in that period.

The Browns have been among the worst since their return. Only the last year has this changed. Since adding Dorsey, things are on a huge upswing though they admittedly now need to validate it with results over several years.

However, ever since Dougie screwed up the team by doing slightly better than expected thereby missing out on top picks while completely whiffing the 2003 draft, the team has been cursed. Ain't no other way to explain it.

I think you speak of the drafts where we did not get one of Crosby, Ovechkin or Malkin because we had all of 72 points, while Pittsburgh traded and sat their way into two of the 3. Yeah, that has chapped my ass as the bain of CBJ existence. The fact that we have been so bad and never got the #1 pick, while Edmonton tanks, loads up on #1 year after year and can't win even with the modern day Gretzky.. well that sux too, just in an easier to take manner.

Arizona Cardinals.

Exhibit A: They hired Kliff Kingsbury to be their HC.

Exhibit B: They're going to select Kyler Murray with the first overall pick.

The original topic of this thread evidently ran its course, and we already have an Other Sports thread for talking about other teams in other leagues. Time to move on.
