Ryan Miller. The guy is 160 lbs. soaking wet but his chest protector and pants make him look enormous.

And the biggest whiner in the league too.

Sub .900 next season for Hollywood.

Miller and Crawford stand out to me. Their chest and arm units are obscenely huge.

Other guys I have noticed this past seasons with ridiculous shoulder heights are Darling, Murray, and Niemi. Markstrom is an offender too but is at least not as inhuman looking as he was in his Florida days.

Obviously this is just opinion seeing as they all somehow pass Kay Whitmore's measurements.

That's like saying you passed a Russian PED test.

The fact that every goalie gets a choice of L or XL pads regardless of size or measurements tells you the system is broken.

That's why I'm praying the changes made this year are noticeable.
(A caller on XM pointed out that a few years back, during the Summer Research & Development camps run by Shanahan they had a game where the goalies wore 10" pads and shrink-wrapped gear. They claimed there were a lot more goals in that scrimmage compared to the previous days - no doubt.
Why not just use those measurements?)

Ryan Miller is an obvious choice. His calves are as big as my 9YO sons.
Yet he looks like a monster on the ice.

I couldn't help but notice Vasilevskiy's gear in this seasons playoffs either.
His chest protection was ridiculous.

With the implementation of carbon materials(very strong and very light in weight) in goalie equipment, there is no reason for the Chesty and Pants to not be form fitted to the goalie.

I think he did ok.....

Yeah I meant to say he had a slow start to the season immediately following the leg pad changes, which I guess could have been a result of other factors
