And it wasn’t an emotional reaction from Uruguay? As usual your showing your ass.
Of course it was emotional. But the fact they felt they had to 'settle the score' with the refs after it was all over, and pointless to boot, showed their lack of ability to rein emotions in with time and to 'pack it in' when it's over. Do you think people feel the need to point out the Uruguayan behavior as a disgrace because they see it all the time and it's a nothing burger? Obviously not. It's something most people not exposed to Latin American football would rarely see. The fact your example, not even directly comparable, involving Chelsea shows a 13 year old match that people will probably talk about for decades is actually proof of just how unusual this would be in Europe.

It was also pointless when Ballack was doing it… you said German players never act aggressively towards officials. There’s an example. So spare me you mighty euros with your superior manners.

Not a big fan of modern football but the way Son runs with the ball makes a grumpy heart smile.

France
Portugal has a massive squad. They have quality players at every single position.
Their only three drawbacks?
1/ Lack of depth compared to other contenders but they have zero injury.
2/ Poor coach but the team has enough quality to overcome this.
3/ Ronaldo will start (partly because of #2, but let's be honest few coaches would have the balls to bench him on the portugese NT) and as usual, the players will play for him to score. Bernardo already said this WC was for Ronaldo. This IMO is their main weakness. And injury or a ballsy coach would make them instant favourites IMO.

What's scary about them also is that their quality players are fairly young and will be dangerous for years. Also they have tons of excellent young coaches so the next one could be quality as well. This is IMO the most dangerous contender for titles after France in the next 8 years.
Well...
And United...
