USA has looked kinda...average? Maybe they're just playing possum like the Canadian men did in 2002.

The floodgates have opened, and listening to the international announcer making excuses for the Russians is amusing.

Well, the one upside for OAR is this game proving Morozova's valiant effort against the Canadian team wasn't a fluke. She's been pummeled nonstop since coming in to relieve Tarakanova and has held up strong. Her team isn't doing her any favors though like the one goal she just gave up.

Goal under review looks like it's being taken away due to it being gloved into the net.

And this is why I'm loving the way the tournament is breaking down for these final games. These next four are huge sports or historic rivalries.
Russia vs Finland
Canada vs USA
Japan vs Korea
Switzerland vs Sweden

While a few of these games might not be close there will definitely be some heated moments in each.

I didn't like USA's decision making while in the offensive zone in the first period. Passing it from a dangerous scoring area to get a shot from the outside. Blindly flinging the puck into 4 Russians in front of the net with nobody from USA willing to go into the dirty areas. Turning the puck over too often at the blue line...etc. They cleaned it up and simplified their game in the 2nd and 3rd.
