Finland starting to look more comfortable out there and completing more passes leading to some chances/shots on goal. Raty is an absolute beauty to watch. She doesn't play like she's 5' 5".

The format of the tournament is the top 4 teams in group A with the 1st and 2nd place teams advancing to to semis where the 3rd and 4th place teams go to the quarters vs 1/2 of group b.

No one is eliminated out of group a. It is done to avoid the blowouts given the skill difference between the top teams and bottom teams in the tournament.

Meh they're due for a humbling, especially after that "pay or we don't play" stunt they pulled at the world championships. They supposedly did it for the girls in youth hockey to gain funding, but all the deal did was line their pockets after the NWHL told them they had to cut salaries or fold. Only a token amount from the deal is heading back to USA Hockey to fund girls programs and it pisses me off.
