Arvid Lundberg had a great game yesterday, helping his team to a 3-0 victory. Previously, he's mostly been 7th D, but yesterday he got more ice-time and logged one assist and +2.
Wallmark, on the opposing team, was struggling, directly causing a turnover that led to one of the goals. No points and -2.
Agree on Lundberg, not sure why everyone keeps talking about Anton Lindholm when it's the former who's been playing in SEL.

Though I agee he hasn't looked good, I think it's quite stupid of them to play Wallmark on the fourth line. If he's to play it should be on a more offensive one.

Kylington is on the U17 Elitcamp roster held in December, probably means he's not going to Malmö.

Yeah, either Lindholm would be huge but we can probably write off Hampus from the roster. Forsberg would be an upgrade but the last thing we need is one more offensive winger.

Our wingers are a little on the small side though, so Forsberg would be a great addition in that regard imo. Maybe even be used on a third line with the best of the rest after our top 6.

How's our goalies and third defense pairing?

No Hampus Lindholm as expected. This team could be one of the least exciting ones in years, still pretty decent in terms of quality.

If Elias is coming, I'd say it's the best forward group in forever.

That could be pretty accurate. I wonder why they love Pettersson so much but not Byström.

from uffes blogg:

sweden could be pretty meh this year. Let's realize that we had our golden years already, and atleast we got a gold from it.

I heard that the Swedish Federation is cutting down on the junior resources also.

Well the 94's are one of our deepest age groups ever. No medal would be a disappointment just like previous years.

I see some Swedes appear to be down on their team but I'm going to chalk that up to nerves. Sometimes people want to shield themselves against expectations in the off chance the whole thing crashes and burns. From an outsider's perspective, this Sweden team looks absolutely stacked. Lots of talent and experience, not to mention home ice advantage. In my opinion this is a top contender for gold.

Is Carl Dahlstrom on the outside looking in for this year?

He has been injured a lot this season unfortunately. But recently he's been back playing and from what I've seen he's pretty much back to his old form now. I doubt it will be enough to get a spot at WJC though.
