You always pick the most unknown guy and put him on the first line? His numbers doesn't look good enough to be on a first liner on this team. I don't know if he will make the team at all.

Unknown guy????. Maybe to you, you probably should follow more hockey.

Kiviniemi was the Broncos best player this season as a 16, 17 year old rookie, led the team in goals (16), his team was the worst (or 2nd )
in the WHL and one of the worst in the entire CHL, Kiviniemi was still able to score with almost 0.50 ppg avg, he started the season in 4th
line and later was given 1st/2nd line minutes with pp time.

Has some size, skates really well, has a really good shot selection, if is given a correct role, he will surprise many i reckon.

I just meant that I've only heard his name and by stats I thought he didn't have a good year. But okay, maybe he has a chance. I still don't think he will be a first liner even if he makes it.

Looks good.

Piiroinen
Blomqvist

Heinola-Tuomisto
Kokkonen-Loponen
Räsänen-Niemelä
Hatakka

Puistola-Lundell-Simontaival
Aaltonen-Nikkanen-Miettinen
Saarela-Räty-Tieksola
Mäntykivi-Pärssinen-Räty

Lots of options for every position.

Team is actually stacked, players on the 4th line or on the bubble would be top 6 players most other years, same on defence.

Strong 1-0 victory over USA in their first pre-tournament game. Good effort especially the defence and goaltending. Promising start!

Saw some discussion whether Aatu Räty makes the team or not I actually think his the 2nd best center after Lundell let alone just making the team

Wasn't Finland supposed to play Slovakia today in a practice game or does my memory fail me?

If they did does anyone know the result and was this thing streamed or televised anywhere?

Don't really see Saarela as center if Lundell comes, likely something like this:

Last forward spots for Hirvonen, Ak.Räty or Intonen, depeding what they want.

Puistola-Lundell-Simontaival
Aaltonen-Nikkanen-Tieksola
Miettinen-Räty-Saarela
Petman-Pärssinen-Räty/Hirvonen/Intonen

Defense looks set. They will likely rotate the pairings a bit and play with 7 d.

Kokkonen-Heinola
Räsänen-Niemelä/Loponen
Hatakka-Tuomisto

Powerplay units likely end up as:

PP1:Saarela-Simontaival-Puistola-Räty-Heinola
PP2: Miettinen-Aaltonen-Lundell- Tieksola-Tuomisto
