Sweech: with Lowry playing mostly centre last year, that's quite the logjam at C - wonder who will shift to the wing.

I'm assuming that O'Dell has played too much pro to go?

Yeah players will most certainly be switching to the wing and I wouldn't be surprised to see Lowry get time at both positions throughout the tournament. I'm not sure which guys are better at other spots. Obviously we have that hole on the left side.

Sadly I do think O'Dell has too many games in the AHL across two seasons to be eligible to go.

The pool of players we have to go is already fairly deep. By position we've got:
Left Wing | Center | Right Wing | Defense | Goaltender
Adam Lowry|Mark Scheifele|Scott Kosmachuk|Jacob Trouba|Juho Olkinuora
Ivan Telegin|Nic Petan|J.C. Lipon|Joshua Morrissey|Eric Comrie
|Jimmy Lodge|Vinny Saponari|Julian Melchiori|
|Ryan Olsen|Austen Brassard|Brenden Kichton|
|Lukas Sutter| |Jan Kostalek|
| | |Cody Sol|

We'll also likely have quite a few invites like last time. We seem to have an open forward spot, while we can also add a few more players to sub certain one's out as well. I expect we'll want to also get some scouting in for guys to also fill out open spots on the AHL roster, so quite a few invites should be getting subbed in frequently.

Holy man, definitely not super up on the other teams systems, and I know that the teams with the most older guys tend to be the ones to win, but that potential roster looks insane to me. Hard to imagine anyone else bringing that kind of quality/talent to this tournament.

Not only will it be interesting to follow both the prospect camp and rookie tournament this year, but we also should be closely watching the 2013-14 Canadian National Junior Team Summer Camp and tournament in August as well. A sign of the Jets prospect depth is that they will have three players in the camp, Petan, Morrissey, and Comrie.

Additionally, Canada held a goaltending camp in June as well that Comrie attended.

Will be interesting to watch.

Our guys are all 95 birth dates which may leave a couple of them on the outside looking in.

Since we are talking Junior Camp:

Lodge and Copp have been invited to work with Team USA

Agreed Gump.

I posted it a few times in this thread as well, but if Morrissey can have another year of growth and somehow make the junior team, that would be huge.

I also think with what I've read, that Comrie looks to have a great chance to be on the team with Fucale.

Petan might be in tough (especially if they already fill in their top 6 and don't want him in the bottom 6).

Also, Kostalek played in the U18's this year for the Czech Republic. I don't know anything about their potential roster for the 2014 world juniors, but it would be great as well if he made it.

Awesome. Although I'm going to have to take your word for it because I can't seem to find an invite list on that site.

On the right hand side of the page I linked there is a PDF labeled:

Pozvánka na kemp obránců a brankářů reprezentací U19 a U20, TřemoÅ¡ná, červen 2013 (04.06.)

OR (with Google Translate)

Invitation to the camp defenders and goalkeepers representations U19 and U20, TřemoÅ¡ná, June 2013 (04.06)

Got it, thanks. So one of 18 D men (if I'm reading it right).

Would be cool if he played as well.

Canadiens invited Zach Hall to their camp. Would have liked to see him at our camp, him and Scheifele worked really well together in Barrie.

I think his chances are really good this year. He was an assistant captain and an absolute force for them in the U18's. He's the exact type of guy you want on the big ice.

Come to think of it...all of our first round picks have amazing outings at the U18's right before we draft them. Scheifele, Trouba, and Morrissey were all extremely good internationally before the draft.

We already know it, it's posted in another thread.

But thanks anyway :) Good luck for him with you, we don't have any hard feelings for him and I hope he'll succeed (maybe not too much... :D).
