Bad scouting by dubnyk. AA never goes to his backhand on break aways

Kee-rist Wild were a mess in the OT. They better get it together before the playoffs start.

Right when he got that pass I said that's a goal AA never misses on breakaways

Nice game. Entertaining. AA has a shot at a 20 goal season. 40 points each for Tatar and Nyquist now. They're both doing a decent job of salvaging their seasons.

if howard didn't miss half the season and tatar and nyquist played all season like they have the past month, this team would be in the playoffs right now

Another point by lord Zed.

He is 22 points ahead by the second best point-getter in Detroit, and he's 37 years old..

Crazy.

I'm ok with winning if it's ok the backs of our young players like Mantha and AA. We need them to take the next step. They should be limiting veteran icetime however.

Why? We want him to do well, So Vegas will claim him in the expansion draft this summer.

I'd rather get a better pick this draft. With the way he plays we are going on the outside of a top 10 picks. Plus, isn't it known that there are much better goalies that will most likely be available in the expansion draft?

Man howard is good, this team could've been a playoff team if he never got hurt imo.

But winning games seems useless at this point...

My worry is he's playing so well KH will protect Howard just in case.

Why do we want to lose our best goalie? Or do you want to tank next year also.

Because he'll be 34 next year, he's incredibly injury prone and it's highly unlikely he repeats or even builds on this season.

This team isn't competing next year anyway, best for Howard to move on and free up cap space for guys who will be around for when we actually compete again.
