The one where Z made at least 2 bad turnovers, looked like a peewee player on the Jet's second goal where he got mega-walked, and took a terribad penalty after losing the puck again in the last 2 minutes of the game putting us a man down.

Z had his moments but most of the game he was noticeable in a bad way.

Agreed. This season in general I have either been happy or disappointed with Z's game, not too many in the middle.

Pav has regressed more in the last year than Z has. And that makes me sad.

I have noticed that other teams are just hitting Datsyuk to seperate him from the puck.

Maybe he is slightly slower than before, but he has not been able to make teams pay for trying to hit him like he has done in the past. Sadly playing him physically is working now. And its a big loss to Datsyuk's magical ability.

Absolutely. One of the only plays I rewound last night, because it looked so odd, happened in the first period.

Pav was exiting the defensive zone, Copp skates him down from behind, ties him up, and Buff steals the puck. Couldn't believe it.

Z did get absolutely deked on Jets second goal on 4 on 4. Blashill throws AA under the bus in Mlive for lack of defense on that play. Only problem is he was on the other side of the ice. Then limits him to 8 minutes ice time? That's ridiculous.

Zeke, what mistake? But even if he did my point was long tenured professional coaches take care of that stuff in the locker room or on the bench. They don't publicly single out 2 or 3 players at a time. Who wants to play for a guy who can't wait to bad mouth you to the press?
