Of all the things to complain about right now, Sunny on the PP is not one of them.

Sundqvist has 4 PP pts on the season despite being on the top unit pretty much all season. He doesn't bring anything to the PP. He has no creativity. He's a hardworker and a good role player, but get this guy off the PP.

We have skill like Raymond and Berggy, but a career depth guy is playing PP1. Lalonde loves this guy lol, he's his Glendening. It's weird how coaches just have players they like and move up the lineup for no apparent reason.

Of all the things to complain about right now, Sunny on the PP is not one of them.

He doesn't bring anything to the PP though. He's so predictable. The guy has never sniffed a PP in his NHL career before, so clearly most of his previous coaches agree that he has no business on a PP. Yet we have him on the top unit. I just find it strange, and think the team would be better off with more skill on the top unit.

Powerplays are about skill and puck movement, not hardworking grinders.

Everyone on this board knew this was an important game and idk, Everyone was nervous the moment the line-up was announced for a reason. Can't help if Maatta is sick but still...

He is a poor man's Bertuzzi. Just fine. He is there because of our injuries. With Vrana/Fabbri and Bert, no chance.

Would replace him with Bertuzzi instantly when Bert is back.

Skill player won't replace his effort. But skilled effort player like Bertuzzi will.

I'd honestly maybe waive the guy. Paid a good chuck to be a below average back up? With a lot, and I mean a lot of back up quality goalie talent around... psh... idk man. Just don't understand it.

It's also the kinda guys that are scoring when Ned's in. One guy was called up Dec 4th and scores his 1st. Another guy scores his 2nd career goal.

This Melrose Tkachuk love-in is a bit much.

D pairings are a disaster and will not be fixed if Ed (or someone as good) isn't brought up/in and Chia Mo isn't broken up.

Ned is done.

Chia should never see the PP.

Sunny is a good pure screen/tipper but not a guy you want handling the puck to make plays down low. Put him on a unit that just tees off from the point or bring in Ras.

Whatever we did defensively in transition in periods 1/2 last game we definitely aren't doing today. Nonstop free trips through neutral and more often than not odd man to boot.

Blender it up in the 3rd to try some pairings. This game is lost so at least tinker with shit.

If Maatta is sick enough to not be able to play others might be feeling it too. These guys are all cooped up together traveling right now. It's one thing to pick up something at home, but on the road they are always in packs

Idk if they partied over beating his former team, or whatever, but man. Coaches sent out a bad line-up. Maatta's mysteriously sick, goalie choice was terrible and everyone mentioned before the game started.
