Despite Buffalo's 5-5 record in their last 10, they've won three in a row and five of their last seven. Their previous three games are...

5-1 W @ Detroit
4-2 W vs Vegas
4-1 W @ Dallas

That's a combined 13-4. What looks like a good matchup for the Preds on paper, might be coming at a really bad time for us.

But like I said a few days ago, surrounding the bye-week and all-star break, the Preds have a three game stand vs ANH, BUF and TOR. We need to win two of the three, already lost to Anaheim but can salvage this stretch starting with a win tonight.

This will be a goaltending decision Ullmark has only lost 1 in the last 6 and that was to the Blues the other 4 games he allowed 2 or less with wins over Dallas, Vegas, Florida and Detroit and an OT win over Edmonton.

Stop Jack Eichel and Reinhart and the Preds have a good chance Olofsson and Skinner are still out and that little worm Vesy will be back in the top 6.

I know its Sat night and what Preds team will show up.

I would not want to be someone who paid money for tickets to see this team tonight. Last game for 9 days? I'm guessing these guys are already checked out and have their flights booked to somewhere tropical. Poor Josi, stuck going to St Louis.

Too much of these long, quick breakout passes to nobody. It looks like they're trying to spring someone for a breakaway or odd-man rush, but the passes are just a hope and a prayer. I really don't get it, because the first few games under Hynes, where the team did have success, they were breaking out as a unit and really protecting the puck.

Very frustrating to watch our play in the offensive zone. We apparently don't have any forward not named Forsberg who can put the puck where the goalie isn't. You would think they would realize that pucks don't travel through a human body. Buffalo gets less than a minute in our zone and comes away with a goal.
