He said he was going to put in a little bit for tonight, and then with two days off try to put in a little more for Sunday. It's a work in progress, and will be weeks before we start seeing the meat of his "system" start to take shape.

I'm looking for little things, like Mason just said, and echoing what Duchene said. Protecting the middle of the ice, and improving the PK.

So far, whenever the Hawks have the puck in our zone, a Preds defenseman is standing at the top of the crease. You can kinda of see them think about it for a split second sometimes "Oh yeah, go to the crease", but it's working.

Okay, that was a very refreshing period. Shots were kind of close, but it felt like the Preds really carried the bulk of play and the Hawks only had 3-4 real good scoring chances. Sign me up for more of this.
