Atta boy. What a great match overall. Mad respect to Rafa. I have made it pretty clear in the past how much I dislike servebots. Obviously Anderson is more than that, but it's going to be a frustrating match to watch.

Somehow a radically appropriate statistic--both players had 73 winners and 42 unforced errors.

My ideal world has Roger and Rafa tying in slams and Nole getting at least 15. I would love that.

Amazing that within 20 years not only has his record been broken, but it will likely get broken by 3 players who all had to play against each other.

And Kerber with the break chance. You can do it ! Go Kerber !

And she does it, first chance. You're the best Angelique. Please save the day !

Kerber returns serve very well on grass. This should be an interesting match.

Serena has such presence on the court since coming back from baby. She's living up to her name.

Kerber 4-3 as she breaks Williams for a second time in the opening set.

Missing several points by mere millimeters, Serena concedes the first set to Kerber, 3-6. Kerber is playing very intelligently against Williams.

Serena just missing too many makeable points as Kerber continues to play impressively against her.

Kerber has been getting everything back, only four unforced errors in 16 games.

Kerber wins 3 and 3.

What a contrast--a match with absolutely no drama or tension. Just another garden variety tennis match. Still, have to be happy for Kerber. She played superbly all match.

This match felt the equivalent of when your aunt has an orgasm (think it through).

I'm SO happy over both matches today! I missed most of the last set of the men's match, what happened? Did Rafa choke?

I think it's crazy to say this but I think Anderson has a shot tomorrow if he recovers well. He will probably hold his serve and Djok just seems to rally. He'd probably have to win it relatively quickly.
