Its about time. I'm pretty sure this was delayed intentionally so he would serve as many of the games as possible.
I think this suspension had to be reduced because so many similar hits are going unpunished. But I do hope Tom learns from this. It is so obvious that the league is on a Wilson witch hunt. Anything even close to being borderline and he will be gone again.

Its really not as bad as I thought it would be. The news is still relatively new though.
There really isnt much of an argument that Wilson deserved 20 games when you look at recent history of the DOPs. With so many players getting a slap in the wrist.

Fine with this. Hopefully 16 games without playing (14 without pay) will be enough for Wilson to wrap his head around this. If not, the next suspension will be even worse. The team is better with Wilson in the line-up than without him, so he has to figure this out.

Well Malkin did get 5 and a game. We all knew he wouldnt get a suspension. Plays similar to this may have helped Wilson's case.
That's been my argument from the start. How does one hit get nothing and the next get 20.
