What a world we live in where the league goals leader isn't a lock for 2nd team honors or above.

You can have 1 player who's considered to be better all-around production ahead but not 2. This us laughable.

because he scored a lot of goals (not like he ran away and hid with the Rocket either) but wasnt elite in other areas.

Marchand: 100 pts
Gaudreau: 99 pts
Ovechkin: 89 pts

Not to mention Draisaitl who had 16 more points than Ovechkin yet only 1 fewer goal...50-55-105

Ovechkin was 15th in points, but the other 3 that played LW were 4th, 5th and 6th

No, yes he led the league in goals but that pts. total will hurt him IMO. He'll make the 2nd team but Gaudreau will make the 1st team.
