Will Ovechkin finish 1st all time in even strength goals?

Curious, all the talks is about Ovechkin passing Gretzky's all time goal record, as it should.

But what about the all time even strength goals record? Ovie is 4th all time in ev goals (510). He needs to pass Jagr (538), Howe (566), and Gretzky (617). You think he does it?

Will he? I don’t think so, he will hit 900 goals before reaching 1st place in ESGs, and I don’t think he will want to stick around for that mark.

Sarcasm. I have seen people trying to diminish Ovechkin's accomplishments with that argument lol

On a fun note, Ovie will soon break a FIRST Gretzky's record, he's at 54 EN career goals, Gretzky has 56

All comes down to how long he wants to play in the NHL. He has alluded to wanting to close out his career in the KHL after breaking the record but we'll see if he holds true to that. If so, no he won't be 1st all time in ES goals. If he sticks around longer I say he easily gets the ES goal record and also think he hits 1000 career goals.
