Honestly no idea. Kucherov is starting well, McDavids on fire.
Either player could conceivably close any gap between the two. I voted 10-20 McDavid because I'm thinking 10-12, a reverse of last season.
I think this thread will turn into people writing off Kucherov, even more so if McDavid goes like 30 in 12/14 to start the season. Which I'd disagree with.
Last season Kucherov had two monster stretches. 21 in 7 games, and 18 in 5 games. Tampa isnt quite clicking like they were last year, and I doubt Kucherov scores 128 again, but if a player can get 39 in 12, he can close almost any point deficit. I think McDavid is the most consistent player I the league, so if theres anyone to bet on staying out on front, its him. Dont sleep on Kucherov tho
