If Finn was not a 2nd round pick at #35 and instead was selecting between the 5th - 7th round, would anyone care this much that he was traded?

I can understand the pain in a local boy failing here but he's getting a fresh start somewhere else.

The more irrational part is the general pride many fans have for the past regime's draft choices. There should be no sordid of giving Finn a better shot elsewhere.

Jake has been in the NHL (granted on and off) since he was 21 and Matt will be 21 in 2015. Matt is almost a PPG in OHL but Jake didnt play in OHL/CHL and at University only his final year was he a PPG (didnt come close the previous 2yrs).

So how do you see Matt compare to Jake? They are both the same height but Matt has 10 lbs on Jake

Garth Snow thinks so.
