he was given that chance, for 6 years in Toronto he failed that is why Andersen was brought in even if he isn't in tonight

Babcock run Reimer down last season and then brought him back too early.

That statement Babcock made, Bernier will play 60 games. How does that look now. That was so stupid that Babcock played Reimer b2b in his first 2 games.

A donkey could do better than Babcock.

Andersen has let in his share of stinkers.

Slightly hyperbolic but it was just classic Reimer to give up a goal like that(especially a milestone that really fired up the team) under almost no pressure so early in the game, I don't miss him at all.

In addition to Reimer's generally not great play he can't be fully absolved of blame for the game 7 incident as he often seems to be given that it was a team collapse, he still played his part. Not to mention when Bernier was having his good year and went down with injury...
