What was that Orpik? Jesus.

And Holtby's looked good. He shouldn't have to look good though...they're playing poor again.

Shocked that the top line got hemmed in their own zone again after a failed zone entry attempt of their own.

Caps lines are back to normal - but strategy is the same that's killing them.

Opponents now are attacking everywhere. In Caps zone - in neutral zone - on power play.

It's obvious this is giving the Caps fits. They aren't entering the zone well OR (like 80% of the time) end up dumping it and giving the puck right back to the opponent.

Caps need to adjust to teams attacking them. How is it possible a opponent plays us so aggressive but caps never get odd man rushes or breakaways now? Where the hell is the game plan for that???

They are all just trying way too hard. It's funny because we rightly complain about the effort level, but I can see them overthinking and overplaying everything.

Gonna be cool when Schmidt sits on Thursday!

Are you noticing all the successful top line zone entries like on that goal (backstrom with Oshie supporting) and on previous shifts (Ovie and Nick at the blue line) or just the failures? ;)

Nice play by Ovi to start this whole thing, and then you can also see Ovi with two wild on his back, he gave the space to Schmidt
