PLAYOFFS!!! Im so excited we are here!

BTW, how fast did the regular season go by. I cannot believe we already played 82 games.

Seriously. What a stark contrast compared to last year's slow death we were waiting on. The draft took a lifetime to get to.

I remember how painful it was to wait for the draft lottery to occur after the season ended, it seemed like forever..yet apparently it's tonight already :amazed:

I remember those 08 playoffs. Theodore was so good in the first round then got flu for the second and the Wings killed us.

Considering the lockout year before. Nah i think it was perfect!
It does seem like yesterday Roy was smashing the glass divider at Bruce, and to end the season vs them makes the season seem kinda quick.

No amount of goaltending could have saved us in that series. We looked like amateurs against the red army. The hardest the Avs could play would keep games at 0-0 and eventually it would just break down and we'd get dismantled.

Game 1 was a close game, and pretty entertaining. Game 2 was a shellacking, and it was just downhill form there. I was at Joe Louis for that game, I remember it well. Peter Forsberg was out there during the pre-game warm up, I asked Granato (assistant coach at the time) if he was going to play, and he said "we'll see". He didn't play.

I also met Pierre McGuire and he gave me a puck. I chatted with him briefly. Nice guy.

So either I screwed up more amazingly than I could've expected, the elders of the internet really love me, or somebody's cleverly ****ing with me but now that I'm trying to sell my tickets for the second game in chicago I discover that my tickets are actually for the second game of the second round in chicago...

They already have them for sale?

If that matchup ends up happening you get full credit.

I'd assume so since I'm sitting here looking at a ticket that says "Round 2 Home Game B".

So I'm gunna go with the avs won the division so my tickets wouldn't be useless. You are all welcome.

You bought them direct, right? No stub hub? The Avs only have round 1 for sale but you can get other rounds on stub hub. Also, why you said those tix were expensive. Each round goes up. Hope you get to use them. For the right reasons of course :)
