Correct me if I'm wrong, but the home team gets to decide if they want to go first or second in the shoot out right?
Assuming I'm correct, why do the Leafs always choose to go first? In baseball the home team bats at the end of the inning because it's an advantage to end the game with a "walk off". Same would be done in hockey with a "walk off" goal. Also the fans would have a better chance of seeing all 3 of their teams shooters.
Does this irk anybody else or am I just a weirdo?
