Why can't the Wings take care of business in playoff OT anymore?

I think it is because the Wings Are like a machine, they Are prepared to play 60 min. OT is a one shot game.
But there is probably several reasons.

Could be worse - the Pens have lost 7 straight OT games.....

Even so, that leaves them at exactly .500 all-time (24-24). Even if we had a ridiculous run that matched Roy in '93, we'd still be a few games below (DRW all-time record is now 43-56). I'm more just hoping our own three game losing streak will end the next time around.

Whatever the reason should be something consist with the organization for the duration of this time. It could be a puck possession thing? It could be a training thing, our guys may not have the cardio required for these marathons. The Wings have always been a small/softer team and while our smaller guys can handle a 60min game, they may be more worn out by the time OT roles around. It could be an age thing, since older guys don't have as much energy. It could just be about whoevers in net for the wings chokes. It could be a mindset thing.
