It's not terribly uncommon for athletes. When they're playing through any kind of illness it's not unusual at all.
Not at all. I see absolutely nothing to worry about with Lu getting an IV. He may be getting a Myers or IV vitamins to speed up recovery.So, abnormal circumstances?

Proportion. The amount goalies sweat in their equipment is insane. Athletes in other sports get ivs during games always.
