There are expectations of Laine developing into one of the best F's out there and he should do it with Suomela centering him?

Jets only have Scheifele, Little, Roslovic& Lowry to compete against Suomela.
Suomela should 1st make the NHL before putting him into #2C spot on any team, that's a damm difficult spot to win/keep in the NHL.

Jackets desperately need to add another top-6 center to slot Foligno back on the wing and push Dubinsky to 4C. Would make a ton of sense if Jarmo has interest in signing the Finn.

Well at some point something has to give and the Habs finally get a natural top 6 center. No more experimenting guys playing there that are wingers.

If he has too 6 potential it’s one of those contracts where he isn’t signed long term but gives him a shot. The Habs have cap space and have seemed to need a top 6 for over a decade. Take a shot at some point where it isn’t costing you assets but just cap, which the Habs have plenty of.
