Mason is the "starter" imo, but both goalies will get as close to 41 games each as possible. It's a tandem.
Lelghton?
I wish! But seriously I think it will be Mason but I am only basing that on his short time here last year. It doesn't make a difference to me, really. I hope Lavy just "plays the hot hand" all season long. I don't care if Mason plays 60 and Emery plays 22 or vice versa. Or if they both play 41. I'd like to see Mason develop into a long-term solution, but as far as this season goes, just go with whomever is playing better at the time.
Apparently Leighton signed with Donbass KHL
Apparently Donbass should change their name to Dumbass.....
LaForest
thanks, even thou i cant read it, im guessing thats offical ?
im still glad Leights got a job somewere, love him or hate him, im still a fan.
i'd like to keep a track, but being in the KHL that will prolly be difficult, unless someone knows of a english site for KHL news ?
B) Mason's confidence is still fragile. If he gets lit up on opening night, that might do significant damage to his confidence. He played well down the stretch when he arrived, but opening night in that city is a completely different animal. Expectations will be sky high and if he blows it, that could be just thing to set him over the edge.
.
Funny Story. Actually my last name. No relation though
of course the opposite could be true.
he could come out, have a fantastic opening nite, and go on to be a stud, due to pure confidence...
