Speculation: Who will be the Captains?

Give pavs the C, he'll do well with it. Do not give it to Thornton or Marleau, their tenure here commands enough respect and nor will it change how they approach the game. Give the A's to Vlasic/Couture/burns/Marteen/Ward. Pavelski as captain alone would do wonders.

After the 24/7 series it became apparent that out of the leadership group that hes not ok with going through the motions. If he can score a hatrick after he puts himself in a leadership position in the locker room I can only imagine nothing else but good can happen if hes the established captain. They should be giving it to the guys who will impact their game. Guys like vlasic/burns/patty/jt theyre all damn good players but its not going to change anything. I believe couture deserves one of the A's, kid takes shots, makes huge last second passes to win games. If we're gonna play like co-workers we damn better award our co workers with promotions god dammit. The old vets are fine where they are, getting a letter isn't getting to make them play any different.
