Well I'm not trying to convince anyone the Habs will be good next year. But I'd love to know what people think of the similarities between the 2017 Vegas rosters and the 2018 Habs rosters. 3rd page of this thread now, and nobody really attempted an answer yet.

I think the OP's point is too have some fun looking to find possible similarities. I haven't read where he is predicting this to happen, but rather musing.

I found it entertaining to read, but took it with a grain of salt.


Some hockey teams have players with some similar comparables to Vegas players.

The Canadians have players with similar comparables to Vegas players.

Therefore, The Canadians are some hockey team!!

Not necessarily a convoluted syllogism.

Habs basically would need Peca to become the next Karlsson if they wanted to be like Vegas.

Even Vegas is not Vegas unless they get a #1C out of nowhere.
