Who should the Leafs Draft?

Sweatt's just what the doctor ordered. A very safe, reliable performer who has second line upside. The Leafs need to stay far away from malcontent Russians, mystery Swiss, and bogus high schoolers.

Earlier in the year Doug Gilmour was saying that the leafs are high on Hamill.

Leading the Dub at 17 is no small feat. If this kid was 3 inches taller, he would be a sure-fire top 10 pick. He is out-scoring some big names prospects such as Hanzal, Burki, Setoguchi, and team mate Mueller.

Why take a boom bust prospect in the first round, there are plenty of those guys available in alter rounds. Take the best player available.

1. Michal Repik (If available)

3. Mark Owuya
4. Joel Gistedt
5. Jason Gregoire

That's what we don't want.

I don't particuarly care if a player is a "safe" pick. I need a guy with big-time offensive upside, safe pick be damned.

I like Sweatt, but not at #13.
