Who is your NYR season MVP?

It's a bit early, 2/3rds of the way through the season but I'm interested in the impressions from the fanbase.

If I recall correctly, Henrik Lundqvist has been the team MVP every season since the lockout except Jagr's legendary 05-06 season. That includes years where he really struggled through stretches, 07-08 where he ran a .912 with 10 shutouts, ect.

So, this year we have had (relatively speaking, as the overall goaltending performance has improved around the league) an off year from Lundqvist so far. Nash was injured for a good portion. I think this could be the closest year for MVP in quite some time. Who gets your vote?

I've expressed my opinion on this, but, understanding that it would be a poll bias, will abstain from mentioning him.

I think Zuccarello is spot in line for a photo with officer McDonald at years end.

Zuccarello is tied for the team lead in scoring... and is technically 1st by both goals and P/G. I'll go with him, for right now.

Lundy was bad for stretches of the season.

Nash and Richards have been either hurt and or invisible for stretches of the season

Zuccs would be a good choice here as well. but getting offence from McD when no other defender is providing it while still being a stud shut down guy to me makes him more valuable than Zuccs.

IMHO

I'd probably say McD but there hasn't really been a consistent standout throughout the season.

Split on Zucc and McDonagh. I'll vote Zucc because of the "waiver" thing, and because I like saying "Zuuuuucc" when he does something cool.

Hey let's give Cally one more before he rides off into the sunset with his burlap sacks with dollar signs stamped on em!

The rest of the team has caught up, but without McDonagh from October through December our season is already over.

Im torn betweek MacTruck and Zucc, but I voted Zucc this time simply because we have a deadly PP that is a big part of the reason we stopped losing games and started winning them, and he's been the major piece there.

Realisticly I think McDonagh will be this teams MVP at the seasons end however, all things considered.

Quite frankly I think it's far and away McDonagh. Am shocked that Zuccarello has more votes than him, completely appalled.

I agree with the notion that Zucc will get the effort award this year but that McD is still far and away our MVP.
