Voted Grenier, highest ceiling among prospects his age and higher. Blomstrand is a safe pick but I don't see top-6 potential like Grenier.

Man, just my opinion obviously, but Grenier is the one prospect I have completely written off. I just have no faith in him for some reason. He's the new Mats Froshaug for me.

These polls aren't to praise prospects, or give accolades to them. It's simply to rank them and if we are interested, we can compare movement year to year.

In the past we've gone to 20. But the Habs board often goes well past that.

Writing off Blomstrand in favour of a guy like Grenier tells me that the person saying it did not watch both play last year. Blomstrand had an excellent year and slid seamlessly into the,Wolves lineup. I personally think Blomstrand has a higher ceiling AND is a safer pick than Grenier.

Horvat and Shinkaruk are the ones to get excited about and a couple of players to build a team around. The others are to me meh

Voted Subban, as after the top 5 he has the highest likelihood of having any sort of impact in the NHL.

Pretty much 6-12 are borderline NHLer's even at their peaks. Of course there might be an exception or even two but unlikely.

Lol. 2 guys between 6 and 12 will be our roster this year.

Just that it's confirmed Harvard will actually let him play the upcoming season.

Well, not just that. MG said he liked him, and tried to talk to him about coming over but McNally had made a commitment to his Harvard coach and he wanted to see it through. He may have meant come over to the AHL and wait his turn, but still, he's on MG's radar.

A backup goalie yes but is Jordan even signed yet?

My bet is that Bo or Guance pushes Jordan aside by this time next year, if not sooner.

Just making the NHL and having any kind of impact are two entirely different things.

Yes, one year, one way $600K. Very cap friendly.

Missed that, as I was in the boonies with a broken down truck.

He better make good use of his chance here as it's probably his last.

Either way I think it's more likely that Horvat and or Guance is on any Canucks roster in 2 years than Jordan.

That's an absurd thing to say. Several of no name players show up to training camp, and end up looking like stars in pre-season only to completely disappear. Even, junior players look amazing when they have their first few games in the AHL.

You can't possibly base this on 8 games. If you look at Jordan Schroeder's first stint in the AHL, you'd figure he'd be a NHL star by now.
