Why does everyone hate Mikko now?

Mikko's season has just been derailed by numerous factors.

He missed training camp to start. Then started the season playing great but had that high ankle sprain, which can bother a player for a full year. Then just as he was starting to look like his dominant self again, he had that shoulder/collarbone injury recently.

Outside the success of the team, this will likely be a forgettable year by his standards.

A lesser player wouldn’t have been able to put up a point a game, amid all of this.

I still believe he will be heard from come playoff time.
