As a Leafs fan, it’s hard to imagine anyone has more pressure on them than the Matthews/ Marner/ Tavares/ Nylander group, but there have to be others out there feeling the heat too.
Yes probably the Leafs or the Oilers in my opinion. It wasn’t that long ago that these two teams were talked about as having “young cores” but if they don’t win soon those cores might not exist at all.

In addition to the Leafs:

Rangers
Oilers
Hurricanes
Jets

In order IMO
Appreciate the call-out for the Jets, who often get overlooked. There was a lot of controversy this summer about whether Scheifele and Hellebuyck would re-sign, or if we'd enter a rebuild stage. We went all in. And even though we don't have the top-end players of the Oil or the Leafs, and the pressure those individual players must feel, we are looking at Chevy's legacy in play. He's been around for a long time, bet big with those contracts and at the TDL, and we'll see how after his long patient approach to building the team, how going all-in finally works out.

Hurricanes should be up there. They fly under the radar but needs to be talked about more how they have continued to choke in the playoffs for years now after having such dominant regular seasons

They have a lot of good players about to become UFA's at the end of this year. They need to make noise bad

I think a lot of the Jets pressure was alleviated after re-signing those guys, which is why they can be overlooked. Edmonton's immense pressure comes from having the best player in the league, and potentially losing two of the top 5 C's in the league over the next two seasons.

That being said, they absolutely do need to go on a deep run to entice new fans to come out and support the team.

Rangers. This is honestly the easiest path they can get if they get past the Canes. I will be saying that if they miss, then its game over. The same thing applies for the Hurricanes, because they have a lot of UFA's and RFA's this offseason

for the west? Its Vegas. Prove everyone who hates the LTIR wrong.
