That is exactly what everyone wanted.
His sv% to be average. Because that was the reason this team was mediocre. Or at least that is what I was told.
So he did that and this team is still mediocre.

His SV% is not average, it is 25th in the league. Middle of the top-30 pack is 0.921. The difference between Pav's .912 and mid-pack is significant over a season in which there are many 1-goal games.
But, let's lower the bar and go back to a SV% of >.915 over the season, which was what many here had reasonably hoped for. In order to get there, Pavs would have to have a SV% of .920 over the rest of the season. IF that ever happened, and IF the Jets continue to play sound team defence, and barring further injuries to our top players, this team will be anything but mediocre.
