Just FYI: The Vancouver Canucks have never been in a rebuild under Jim Benning, he's just that bad at his job that we've been the worst team in the NHL for the last 5 years, he's given away more picks than he's received, he has NEVER gained a first round pick in a trade, he hasn't done a single move that you would recognise a rebuilding franchise to do, he just absolutely sucks.

He’s been GM for exactly five years now and he’s only ever gotten elite talent when his team performed so poorly that their own 1st round pick was high enough to draft someone good. (Even then, he blew a #5 and a #6 overall).

You’re right, you can’t call what the Canucks are doing a rebuild. You can only call it an incompetent mess.
