Avs fans were telling me that proposing Kevin Hayes for Zadorov was the most lopsided trade proposal they’ve ever seen
I’d rather just have the 1st++ we’re getting lol
Right now I still think Hayes has a bit more value but if he were signed it’d be Hayes ainec

Well first we'd have to know what that Hayes contract will look like - and how Zadorov finishes the season.

Considering the need for good centermen around the league, and the cap going up to 83M, no one should be surprised if there's a bidding war that ends with someone handing out like a 7.5M per deal after missing out on Duchene, heck, it could even be more than that. Hayes likely ends the season with career high numbers, at least in terms of PPG and the team getting him will have his - presumably - prime years. I still remember the Blues giving 7M per to Stastny who had one 60 point season in 4 years - and that was like 5 years ago.

At that point, if Zadorov plays really well down the stretch, the situation suddenly looks a lot different than now.

But regardless, it's probably signed Hayes.

Kevin Hayes isn't signed. That's one of the major factors influencing his trade value.

So much wrong here. First of all you didn't propose "Kevin Hayes for Zadorov". You proposed "Hayes for Zadorov & Avs 1st". Avs are currently 18th in P% in the league so it might very well be a lottery pick. You certainly didn't add the phrase "signed" in the proposal like you do in this poll (not that anyone beyond Kevin Hayes can decide if he signs with anyone before July 1st).

Secondly, not a single Avs fan suggested that it was "was the most lopsided trade proposal they’ve ever seen". You were the only one in the thread speaking in terms of "most lopsided ever" and got the response " Yes that is lopsided" as response which is much less hyperbolic than the phrases you seem to throw around.

It's the only chance of himself being right because EVERYONE knows that Zadorov & Avs 1st" >> Hayes.
They replied saying it was still one of the most lopsided trade proposals they've ever seen if it were a one for one swap. And Avs first is not going to be a lottery pick lol they're in a playoff spot and are most likely going to make the playoffs. This site is just obsessed with trading away everything for futures and tearing down playoff teams to rebuild in hopes that you'll end up exactly where you started in 5 years from now.
An extended Hayes is worth WAY more than Zadorov & a 18th overall pick. Let alone just Zadorov.

It's nice that you're so optimistic about the Avs chances but you essentially just confirmed you haven't watched an Avs game in months if you think we're playoff bound.

They've been slumping but do you really think Vancouver, Anaheim, or Arizona are any better?
They are worse teams but the Avs goaltending has made it impossible for the team to win anything.

Since the start of December our wonderful goaltending duo:
Varlamov .871sv%
Grubauer .869sv%

With that kind of goaltending we could finish dead last in the west, making our 1st much more valuable than Hayes.

BS. Your making stuff up.Just went through the whole thread and NOT one post said what your implying.
They said Zadorov & Avs 1st" for Hayes was one of the most lopsided trade proposals.

One poster said that Zadorov for Hayes, a rental, was a no
Another poster said-----
Even if your offer was Hayes for Zadorov straight up 20+ teams would beat that offer. The avs adding a first is just insult to injury.

There was no offer of an extended Hayes just one of the most lopsided trade proposals ever of Zadorov & Avs 1st" for Hayes made by you.

Hayes very easily, signed or unsigned. Zadorov is one of the more overrated players. Size and hitting blind people to the lack of actual hockey skills.
