I agree. Cameron said he wanted more north south play and thats why he put puempel on. Probably hinting at over passing.

You do realize that Cameron saw Puempel play for two years while he was coaching in the OHL.

He probably likes Puempel's playing style AND that's why he's giving him chances to prove himself.

That really has nothing to do with what im talking about. That would be about puempel making the team. Besides Cameron wasnt in the OHL with puempel outside two seasons. You dont just put a guy on the top line after you've coached him almost ten games because you saw him in junior for two years. I agree with what youre saying i just dont like your reasoning. I think junior accomplishments are out the window at this point

Coming from you, I'm not surprised. Trade Cowen, Trade Lehner, Hoffman was on your trading list.

Give the young guys a chance to develop.

Puempel was being given his shot. Getting hurt really sucks for him

IMO Puempel is getting more of an opportunity because he was a 1st rd draft pick & a lot of money goes into these things & specifically a first rounder. He has shown in Bingo that he can score when he put 30 goals in the net in his first yr & Ottawa is looking for a scoring forward. He also shown that he can play with an edge & got some fighting majors & seems to have rounded out his game & DC has said he goes to the net. We already have too many perimeter players & need more guys crashing the net, nice to see him to that do. While we lack a little size on the left side their speed & skill are making up for it.

Hammond is not just the Hamburglar. He is the Viagra of Sens fans. 8, 9 months from now local hospitals will be overflowing with a spike in births and there will be a run on Andrew and Hammy as names.

In 6 years there will be grade 1 classes with 8 boys named Andrew in it. And 3 girls named Hammy.

Amazing post.

This thread screams Wiercioch.

What?...

Overall I think that its great that they are playing with such confidence. When they get down in games or teams come back they still think they can win.

Hoffman makes the odd dangerous play but you have to take the good with the bad. Thats how he is. A winger that plays like that is just fine with me, its centermen that absolutely cannot.

Hoffman, perhaps the increase in minutes/type of minutes he is getting but his -/+ has dropped off a bit but nothing to go crazy with.

Hoffman was not on "my list" and neither is lehner. If you mean by trade lehner for eberle or trade hoffman before he broke out for D.pouliot then yes. I said no to trading hoffman for evander kane when many said yes. I'm probably more of a fan then most people. The only sens players i would actively try to shop if i could would be cowen. My reasoning is because is value, lack of ability and salary

I have no idea what my post has do with cowen or lehner. You seem to have many misconception about me as a poster. Perhaps youre confusing me with someone else?. I suggest you reset and not stand by these false things like thinking i supposedly want lehner, hoffman or any other sens player gone.

As for lehner im in favor of keeping him and anderson and trying to trade hammond or letting walk atm. I've said at this point i still have faith in lehner but my faith is shaken. I would draft a goalie prospect as a back up plan and not trade anderson.
