Georgiev. Not because he’s not great, but more because goalie value always ends up being lower than we tend to believe on the forum. Ranger fans also seem to talk about him as if he were a vezina quality starter in the making. He has starter upside but he’s not on the same level as Shesterkin and fans know it or they wouldn’t be so willing to move him.

Sam Girard. As far as I'm concerned, he's a placeholder until Byram makes the show and does everything Girard does, and more, for less money(assuming Byram can do more than Girard's one stupid spin move...and if he can't, at least he can do that stupid spin move for cheaper). If/when Byram makes it, an LD has to go. Zadorov is no Scott Stevens, but he plays a unique role that no other LD on the team is taking. Graves can fill more roles than Girard for less money. Same with Byram.
But most Avs fans seem to think Girard is the second coming of Sandis Ozolinsh and could never be moved even if it was a clone of MacKinnon coming back.
