To me, steve smith was way overrated. Then of course he scored the biggest goal against the oilers. He's the last d on my list. 100th place, I'm still not over it !!! Lol then he goes to cowtown to boot ! Cause he was their hero !!

He was by far our best defenseman in our 1990 cup win. Yes, he had the infamous brain fart, but was a force for years.

Reijo Ruotsalainen was the main reason we won in 90. He ran everything back there. Pronger, coffee, fogolin.

So

Coffee 1st, pronger 2nd, Reijo 3rd. Fogee 4th. Lowe 5th, Manson 6th

Rexy was pretty good, but isn’t that overstating his contribution by quite a bit?

I couldn't remember about his PP usage when he was here. Do you think he'd be better in Guerin's spot on PP1?

I'd put him in Stoll's spot on PP 2.

Imagine Arnott and Souray both out at the points ready to fire their bombs at the net. (Stoll had a howitzer himself but Arnott is the better player imo)

I did watch a game live that year, saw him basically quarterbacking the whole team in our end. He was underrated.
