Thanks for all the responses, I don't think it makes sense for the Habs if the price is as high as people ITT seem to think.

Most I would do is 2 2nds and a third. Seeing as its only a ~15 spot move. If that wouldn't get it done, I guess we take our chance at drafting a star in the 2nd round.

Trade one of Gallagher or Pacioretty. Gallagher is having a great year on a cheap contract, could get some solid value.

Maybe. Depend on age and contract. There’s a lot of wrong in the Habs lineup and Gallagher definitely isn’t one of them

How about this idea; Habs keep all their picks. There are lots of great players selected in the 2nd round every draft. More bullets=more chances to land a solid player.
