wish it could be like that for the leafs but unfortunately they are rock when the other two are paper or paper when the other two are scissors or scissors when the other two are rock
the leafs could very possibly beat either of them.

The biggest upset is gonna be Toronto.

Their potential way to the cup looks like a hell:
1) 1st round - Tampa or Boston
2) 2nd round - Tampa or Boston
3) 3rd round - Pittsburgh
4) 4th round - Nashville

While their core players won the whole 2 play-off games so far.

I can understand people saying TB right now.

TB has been on auto-pilot for a while.

Let's see if they can flip that switch.

Blackhawks stumbled into the playoffs a few years ago, won the Cup.

I’ve seen plenty of teams finish hot and dry up in the playoffs.

Just get to the postseason and anything goes.

Lest we forget the playoff team with the worst record last year made it all the way to game 6 of the Cup Finals

I mean while the 'core' doesn't have a ton of playoff experience most of em have played in a ton of big games. And the rest of the team has a lot of experience scattered around. Marleau, Hainsey, JVR, Polak, Plekanec, Andersen have all been to round 3+. Kadri, Bozak, Gardiner, Komarov have the series vs Boston as well as last year.

The analytics say Vegas isn't overachieving at all. Lazy answer.

Would be surprised to see Washington advance. They got outshot pretty much on a nightly basis and Holtby sucks this year.

Their only hope, as always, is Ovechkin scoring 2 PP goals every night and it hasn't worked yet.

Other than that, I'd expect the higher seed to advance. I'm sure not all of them will but it will be a legitimate upset. The top seeds are pretty strong this year.

Winnipeg Jets 2.0 has never even won a playoff game.
Does anyone really think that they are favorites at this point.
lol

But the Jets are ****ing due to go balls deep in the playoffs and we got a real goalie now.

Jets are a powerhouse. Nobody takes them lightly. They are not under dogs that’s for sure

I still think Vegas is done in round 1. I think they had a magical season but reality will hit and end their Cinderella season.

Vegas, and I wouldn't be surprised if Vasilevskiy's fatigue really catches up to him in round one and gets Tampa eliminated. The latter is more of a long shot, but I can still a slight possibility of it happening.
