When I was younger I used to watch all sports even the NY Saints in the National Lacrosse League and St. Johns when Malik Sealy (RIP) was a star.
I have less time now as an alleged "adult" lol. Pretty much the last 15 years it's been just Rangers and Giants and when I have time Mets or Knicks more as background when I'm working or at various points studying on the weekend/game is on at gym.
I used to be a huge wrestling fan in the late 80s-early 90s like WWF, JCP/WCW/NWA, WCCW (they'd show this on Sportchannel midnight on Fridays into Saturdays around 1989-1991). I lost interest after WrestleMania VIII when there was a mass exodus of WWF stars like Hogan, Warrior, Legion of Doom, Jake The Snake, Texas Tornado, Tito Santana, etc. by the time they got to early 1993.
I watched the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars more for the shock and for people to show up. ECW was my favorite being a local promotion and yes it was hardcore and ridiculously over the top, but the matches were better. The "wrestling" aspect of WWF/WCW in that era was pretty poor. I'm a wrestling not sports entertainment fan so I don't like modern WWE where people throw 1,000 punches every match, do the same three moves, and the announcers call them the same nicknames 17x every match.
