Favorite players was always Modano, so I wore #9 if it was my choice. If that number was taken, I went to 19. When I got to high school varsity and both of those were in use, I wanted something more rare and went to 94.

#7 always

You know how little kids always want their age as their number right?

So i was 6, playing soccer, and my dad told me not to get 6 as my number, and recomended i get 7. So i stuck with it for all these years

When i dont get 7 i get 34, because when i played soccer when i was 9 i got assigned it, then in middle school basketball i got assigned it AGAIN

so my #s are 7 and 34

I started late (5 years ago, age 19). I went with 25 because of Keith Primeau. Lately I've used 12 because of the numbers available for the pre-printed jerseys in the league, 12 was the only one I liked (Simon Gagne).

Always wanted 77 but it was never available. Settled with 17 because someone always took 7.

10 was my number growing up, I've since gone with several different numbers in different sports like 13, 16 and 33. Now I usually wear 95 after a local player who I really looked up to growing up.

I was #3 when I started, and then I changed my number to #24. Now I use #24 when I play if I do play.

I have always been #37. I just like that number, I don't know why. No top athletes (that I know of) use(d) that number.

But if if that number was taken, I would use 91 or 53.

7. Although 7 is popular, so I go with 77 if I can't get it. Also, I was 88 in football so if I'm really desperate I'll go with that.

Can I have your number?

Alright boys and girls.

In hockey (be it real life, video games, or imagined) what number do you use and why?

I use #93

When I play out people think I am a Gilmour fan, when I play in net, people think I might have been a Puppa fan. Both are wrong.

I randomly selected 93 with my eyes closed when I made my player in NHL 95. It has stuck with me ever since.

I pondered being #16, in honor of Linden, but I never did it, out of some sort of imagined respect of his number.

My number in both hockey & soccer is/was #5.

I was a big Dana Murzyn fan back in the day (Possibly the only Dana Murzyn fan)... and he wore #5, so I wore it and have never looked back.

91. I've been a Stamkos fan since before he was even drafted. Plus, 91 is very aesthetically pleasing for me.

If 91 is unavailable, I go 74. Don't ask me why 74 though, cause I don't know. I just like it.

I wore 88 when I was a skater and 1 when i was a goalie. I wore more numbers but those are the only ones I remember.

#4 initially for minor leaguer Pat Neaton. I wanted to be an offensive defenseman, but ended up playing RW more often than not.

I'm more partial to #14 now. A bit more versatile, and it still pays respect to Neaton, but also Brendan Shanahan, and a few other favorites. #24 or #44 would be my backup choices.

If I were a goalie, #34. If that wasn't available, #37 if only because it looks cool.

25. I'm a big Neal Broten fan and while I've worn 7 before it usually got taken by somebody when I was younger. The same went with 14 and 16, so I ended up wearing 25 for a few years and it's been my number ever since.
