They use nitrogen to pump the stuff from a huge vat in the basement. Makes it carbonated with laughing gas. That's why it works so efficiently.

The increased carbonation itself causes an increased effect on delivering the alcohol content to the bloodstream quicker. Rexall draft is extremely carbonated. They can hardly tap it without enormous amounts of foam coming out. First thing I notice is excessive carbonated foam. Second thing I notice is excessive carbonation bubbling.

Heres a link that explains a bit more:

If Nitrogen is used to pump the beer this would certainly have an effect as well.

So there, in a nutshell, is "heroine beer" explained.

I'll add something here to. The beer could be watered down and still have enough alcohol content to create a quick buzz with the added effects of over carbonation and added nitrogen. In fact they may find it prudent to water it down so that the effect of said beer is somewhat consistent with normal beer. Such beer should be metabolized quicker as it does hit the bloodstream much quicker.

Ahhh okay so did they just start bottling this stuff and call it Molson M?

Cause it's micro carbonation right?

When I go to the games it's usually box seats and you can get bottled/canned beer, including Heineken. I don't know about anything exotic like 'Alley Cat', but at Rexall or any other name establishment but I'll take any import over the crappy Molson products.

This is one of the main reasons why I prefer to watch the game from home. Beer that I like and it's cheaper.
