Yeah, Joe "The Worst Teammate Ever" Sakic was a selfish ****** for doing that. I can't believe Selanne did the same thing! Clearly all of Sakic's bad influences rubbed off on Selanne that time Teemu did the Avs a favour and signed for considerably under market value to try and win a cup.

heh....no one is saying taking their time to make a decision is selfish. Not for Alfredsson, Selanne, or anyone else.

Just saying it's the same bit of angst/dramarama/stress (or whatever word you want to use) every summer with the fan base having to wait to see what's going on.

We had to deal with it for a good 5 years in Ottawa. To be honest, I'm kinda glad that's one less thing to deal with this summer. Enough stress swirling around the team this summer as it is.

Now if we can get Bobby to put his signature on an extension.....
