Vesey likely needs to be on the 2nd line and find two guys to play with Hayes.

Replace Lundqvist when he retires after the 4th season (potentially): Tyler Wall, Adam Huska, or Brandon Halverson.

Team needs MAJOR help on the right side in the immediate future and long term. Without a trade or signing, they're likely to not have a top 4 RHD during that time.

Otherwise, we're looking at the majority of the team already on the Rangers. This is the point in time where they could have to trade a player to free up cap space.

Also, remember you can't keep everyone, even the soon to be expensive 4th line players.

It's almost the same Jackets team - they're the leagues youngest and they have the cap to keep the core intact with a few minor cuts - JJ and Hartnell wouldn't be resigned - maybe losing one more player if they want an insane raise.

There will be new guys coming in from the 2017 and 2018 draft that would be on the team in 5 years I hope. Also trades/free agency. Highly doubt Radulov is still here 5 years from now. Will Price still be a capable #1 ? Also have my doubts on Patch. Anyway:
